  • Understanding Children's Friendships and Conflicts:  What Every Parent Needs to Know

    Presented by Catherine Mallam, Chatham Park School Counselor 

    Tuesday, April 30th at 7:30 P.M.  Chatham Park Auditorium

    Your daughter comes home distraught because her best friend left her out at recess.  Your son is in a fight with a boy in his class whom he refers to as his "enemy."  And nearly every day there is a new media account about bullying in schools.

    Parents are left wondering:  What is normal conflict between children?  What is bullying?  When should I intervene; when should I step back?  How can I support my child's social development?
