Mrs. McGilvery enjoyed her moments as the "student" as our 4th graders did a beautiful job explaining the code.org process.
Every class begins the day with Morning Meeting here at Lynnewood. Students and teachers gather together in a circle to talk with each other and build the classroom community together. Children and teachers greet one another by name, share information about important events in their lives, participate in a group activity and read a message crafted to help students focus on the work they will do in school that day. This meeting is an engaging way for students to start each day!
Lynnewood Elementary School students are excited about learning with our new iPads! There are 26 new iPads for second grade and 30 new iPads for 5th grade in 14 -15. Our teachers and students are excited about the ways that technology enhances instruction. Click on "New I Pads" for more pictures.
