The School District of Haverford Township is proud to announce Mrs. Jillian McGilvery as the new principal of Lynnewood Elementary School. Mrs. McGilvery began in July following the retirement of current principal Mrs. Susan Mingey. Mrs. McGilvery came to Haverford from the Upper Darby School District, where she was the Coordinator of the English Language Learners Program.
District Superintendent Dr. William Keilbaugh said, “Haverford warmly welcomes Mrs. McGilvery to our administrative team. Jillian is a wonderful educator, neighbor, and alumna who understands our community. Her student-centered instructional leadership will continue Lynnewood’s outstanding tradition of excellence.”
