I graduated from St. Joseph's University in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. In 2001, I received a master's degree in education with certifications in reading and special education from St. Joe's.
I began my career teaching kindergarten in a small private school for one year. I spent the next five years teaching first grade with the Philadelphia School District. I came to Haverford Township and Chatham Park in 2001. I taught first grade in room 116 for seven years. I have been the Chatham Park Reading Specialist since 2008. I am also an adjunct professor with Arcadia University.
When I am not busy at Chatham Park, I am busy walking my four dachshunds, Bella, Will, Amelia and Tanner. I love to bike ride, shop, and of course, READ.
