The Federal School field trip was wonderful. Parents, thank you so much for helping your children experience the 19th century by wearing clothing styles of the period, bringing their lunches in buckets and baskets, and wearing their hair in braids and pigtails. We had "more fun than we had expected." Please look at the workbooks we sewed, the writing we did with nib pens, and ask about our spelling bee!
ART NEWS: Each student has been asked to bring a shopping bag or paper grocery bag to school, in which to carry home important art creations. This will protect the art and make sure it doesn't bend, fold, wrinkle or break. The art is now in our classroom, where there is no space to display it, and needs to go home by Friday. Please hang it on your walls and refrigerators! This stuff is awesome!
Instrumental Recital was on May 15. Such talented musicians we have!
Click on the blank area below to watch the video of the 4th Grade Medieval Banquet! Thank you, Mr. Bannon, for doing the video.
Field Day is on Friday, May 24. The teams were set up and students know which teams they will play on. If you placed an order for a red or a white shirt, it will be delivered before Field Day. Fourth grade will do field events in the afternoon, and will need to eat lunch at noon in our classrooms. If your child can pack a lunch from home, it will allow your child to have more time to relax and eat prior to the start of our field events. Just a thought!
