To the Manoa Mustang Community,
I would first like to take this opportunity to thank you for entrusting me with the care of your children. It is indeed a dream come true to be able to serve as the next principal of the Manoa Elementary School. In the coming years, we intend to continue and build upon the fine tradition of excellence that exists because of the hard work of our dedicated professionals and deeply involved community.
The development of our students academically, socially, and emotionally is of the utmost importance to me as an instructional leader. Through meaningful interactions over the coming school year, I hope to gain valuable insight into the expectations that you, the community, may have in regards to continuing the positive growth of our children. It is my sincere goal to make the Manoa Elementary School as great as it can be.
Prior to beginning my career in instructional leadership, I served as a middle school English teacher in the West Chester Area School District for 10 years. During my tenure in West Chester, I also served as an intern elementary assistant principal. During the last four years of my career, I have had the blessing of serving as the assistant principal of the Great Valley Middle School in the Great Valley School District. In addition to these experiences, I also taught at the Vaux Middle School in the Philadelphia School District my first year after college. Through these varied experiences, I wish to bring additional perspective to an already great school.
Please know that I am looking forward to meeting and working with you for the benefit of our children. If you ever need me, please do not hesitate to call me at 610.853.6000 X6140.
Enjoy the remainder of your summer!
Sincerely,
Kyle Hammond
